In accordance with the Decree of the President of Romania no.195 / 16.03.2020 on the establishment of the state of emergency on the territory of Romania, art.12 (1) of the Military Ordinance no.3 / 24.03.2020 on measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the AACR Report no. 8997 / 07.04.2020 (can be accessed here) regarding the granting of exemptions from the requirements of some regulations of the European Commission and of the Parliament in the field of continuous airworthiness, AACR makes the following clarifications:
- For CAMO, AMO, MTO organizations authorized by AACR in accordance with the provisions of Annex I (Part-M), Annex II (Part-145) and Annex IV (Part-147) of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011. 1321/2014, for which the supervision cycle ends between 16.03.2020 - 31.07.2020, the closing dates of the supervision cycle are extended by four months,.
- The practices and methods by which AACR carries out its surveillance activities of organizations authorized / in the process of authorization according to (EU) 1321/2014, during the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, are described in the Airworthiness Notification no. AACR-2020-0007 dated 2.04.2020 (can be accessed here).
- The period of validity of the certificates of recognition granted in accordance with the provisions of (EU) No. 1321/2014 Annex III Part 66, which expires between 16.03.2020 - 31.07.2020, is extended by four months.
- Completion period of on-the-job training (OJT) programs running from 16.03.2020 to 31.07.2020, as well as the period of validity of on-the-job training (OJT) programs expiring on 16.03.2020 - 31.07.220, are extended by four months.
