On March 25-29, 2019, in Katowice, Poland, in the organization of the "Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems" (JARUS) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland, the general assembly of JARUS takes place.
JARUS is a group of experts, in which 61 national civil aviation authorities are represented, EASA, EUROCONTROL and representatives of the profile industry, is currently a discussion forum in which standards of technical certification are developed, licensing of operators , as well as the authorization of flight activities.
During this general meeting, the discussions within JARUS focus on current issues such as:
a. digitization;
b. flight operations involving autonomous / automatic unmanned aircraft;
c. the concept of UTM / U-space.
