At the end of the two days of presentations and debates on the implementation of changes in national legislation in relation to the new European Aeronautical Regulations, (EU) 1139/2019, (EU) 2019/1383 and (EU) 2019/1384 , both the AACR Airworthiness Directorate team and representatives of CAMO / AMO / MTO have decided to hold regular proactive meetings in the format of the seminar that ended today, as information on the interpretation of regulations and good practices provided clarification on the implementation of new legislative changes.
The participants in the meeting also discussed a number of issues that need attention in the opinion of the industry:
- the creation on the AACR website of a tool with which questions can be asked on the areas managed by the Authority, so that they can be addressed in the AACR guidelines;
- clarification of the status of aircraft radio certificates (ANCOM + AACR),
- organizing a meeting dedicated to the situation of components for old non-complex aircraft;
- standardization of the treatment of derogations granted by AACR;
- improving the response time to documents submitted to the AACR;
- the designation of persons in organizations to filter technical license applications.
At the same time, the representatives of the aeronautical industry congratulated the team of the airworthiness department for the openness, availability and professionalism with which they supported the panels and led the debates.
For its part, the AACR team thanked industry representatives for their concern, thoroughness and efforts to implement the new legislation so that aviation safety is maintained at a high level.
