Based on the provisions of Regulations (EU) no. 1139/2018 and 2019/947, of the Air Code, as well as of the Government Decision no. 859/2021, starting with May 9, 2022, in the common areas of the Romanian-Ukrainian border, Romania established a restricted airspace area.
