From Sunday, April 5, 2020, starting with 23.00, all flights to the USA, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey and Iran will be suspended. The decision is provided by Military Ordinance no. 7, in the context of Covid 19 and is for a period of 14 days. The suspension measure does not apply to cargo, mail, humanitarian flights, as well as non-commercial technical landings.
Also, Military Ordinance 7 regulates the transport of seasonal workers working abroad. Thus, charter flights will be allowed for the transport of seasonal workers from Romania to other states, with the approval of the respective countries.
In the context of Covid 19, Romania has previously suspended flights to and from Italy, Spain, France and Germany.
