On June 13, 2012, Mr. Franck Giraud, Director for European Cooperation at the French Directorate-General for Civil Aviation, held talks at AACR headquarters, addressing all areas of expertise (air operations, airworthiness, personnel certification, airports, air transport and air navigation services).
On this occasion, the possibilities of cooperation between the aeronautical authorities of the two countries were explored, AACR expressing its interest for the exchange of information and experience regarding the application of the various European regulations and directives adopted in recent years in the field of aviation safety. experience and possibly the joint participation of the staff within the two authorities in supervision activities in various fields.
Mister. Franck Giraud expressed his satisfaction for the interest and seriousness with which the possibilities of Romanian-French collaboration were approached and proposed to study the opportunity to conclude a collaboration agreement that would establish the general framework for carrying out the considered actions.
