- Background – The joint order issued by the Minister for Transportation, Infrastructure and Communications, the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Health no. 1082/97/1112/2020 on measures and rules in the transportation domain, during the state of alert, aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and the Order of the Minister of Health no. 414/2020 on imposing quarantine for persons in a situation of international public health emergency caused by COVID-19 infection and on measures to prevent and limit the consequences of the pandemic, with subsequent amendments (Order of the Minister of Health no. 414/2020).
- The aim of this Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) – To inform all aircraft operators performing flights to Romania on the obligation to verify, on boarding at the airports of origin of the flight, that the passengers have filled out the affidavit provided in Annex no. 3 to the Order of the Minister of Health no. 414/2020.
- Applicability – This document is applicable to all aircraft operators performing flights to Romania.
- Effective date – 03rd of August 2021.
- Requirement – Considering the requirements of the Romanian state authorities, in order to streamline the processing of passengers at Romanian airports, aircraft operators performing flights to Romania have the obligation to verify, on boarding at the airports of origin of the flight, that each passenger has filled out the affidavit provided in Annex no. 3 to the Order of the Minister of Health no. 414/2020.
