On 28.10.2012, Regulation (EU) no. Commission Regulation (EC) No 965/2012 of 5 October 2012 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures in respect of air operations pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
In accordance with Art. 10 of the above mentioned regulation, Romania notified the European Commission regarding the implementation of its requirements, until 28.10.2014. The program for the implementation of the new regulation shall contain the measures necessary to be undertaken by air operators certified in accordance with the provisions of Annex III to Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93. Council Regulation (EC) No 3922/91 on the harmonization of technical requirements and administrative procedures in the field of civil aviation in order to comply with the new requirements.
In this regard, the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority makes available to all air operators, holders of Air Operators Certificate - AOC (a), the document entitled "Operations Manual Check-list - Airplanes" containing the structure and content of the Operations Manual, developed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) no. 965/2012. Thus, we request you to send us the Operations Manual in revised form, according to the previously mentioned document, until 28.04.2014, in order to comply with the Implementation Plan of EU 965/2012 available here.
