Special measures in the context of Covid 19 regarding theoretical examinations, how to submit applications and documents for the licensing of aeronautical personnel and the certification of training organizations
Considering the epidemiological situation in the country, we inform you that in the period 16 - 20.03.2020 are suspended all the theoretical examinations that take place at the headquarters of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.
Also, starting with 01.04.2020, all examinations that are held on the computer at the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (airplane or helicopter pilots) will be held only with prior appointment made by email at: pel.info@caa.ro or SMS to the number by phone: +40751039687.
Appointments are made for the examination periods approved and published on the official website of AACR www.caa.ro, by reservation with confirmation, daily, in the time intervals: 09:00 -12: 00 and 13:00 -15: 00 , within the available seats.
AACR informs that starting with 16.03.2020 all the information regarding the licensing of the aeronautical personnel can be obtained through a clear message (exact description of the request) to the address: pel.info@caa.ro.
Also, starting with 16.03.2020, all applications for the licensing of civil aeronautical personnel, accompanied by the related documentation will be received at the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority only in electronic format (including scanned documents) by email: pel@caa.ro.
Also in electronic format, all requests and related documentation (including scanned documents) for the certification of training organizations will be submitted to the email address: pel.oversight@caa.ro. Thus, starting with 16.03.2020, the mentioned documents will be sent to the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority only by e-mail.
In the context of the spread of COVID-19 infection, we recommend aeronautical agents to check the information available on the website www.caa.ro, prior to the interaction with the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority. The return to the previous situation will be announced through the official website of AACR www.caa.ro
