The IT specialists of the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority are currently participating in the only national cyber security exercise focused on the practical component, CyDEx19.
CyDEx19 aims to verify the level of technical expertise of specialists within the participating entities in case of a major cyber incident at the national level, but also the development of an effective mechanism for early warning, alert and rapid response to such incidents.
At CyDEx19 are simulated complex scenarios, jointly designed by SRI, STS, SPP, MApN, Military Technical Academy, CERT-RO, Ministry of Public Finance, Romanian Civil Aviation Authority, BNR, Deloitte, Bitdefender, SecureWorks and ING.
CyDEx19 is organized by SRI, through the National Cyberint Center, with the support of the institutional partners MApN, MAI, MAE, STS, SPP, SIE, ORNISS and CERT-RO.
The event takes place at the Palace of the Parliament between September 30 and October 2, with the participation of over 90 entities from the public, private and academic environment.
