The top representatives of the civil aviation authorities in Romania and the USA had a technical meeting in Paris, regarding the state of analysis related to the terms and conditions of resuming the operation with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in the European space, taking into account the TAROM and Blue airlines Air to purchase this type of aircraft.
On the agenda of the meeting between Armand Petrescu, director of the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority (AACR) and Daniel Elwell, administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) were also discussed discussions on strengthening AACR and FAA relations within the Romania-United States Strategic Partnership.
The two officials are present in Paris in the context of the 53rd edition of the International Paris Air Show 2019, one of the largest international events of its kind, with a long tradition and the most important in Europe.
