A team of specialists from the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority (AACR) is currently participating in the General Assembly of Romanian Airports (AAR). At this meeting are discussed topics such as the development of the Romanian airport industry, the provisions of the new air code, updating the Transport Master Plan, infrastructure development strategies at Romanian airports (passenger terminals, cargo terminals), attracting European funds for airport modernization .
During the debates, officials analyze, among other things, the evolution of passenger traffic and the impact of this traffic on the development of tourism and other industries.
The AAR Assembly is attended by officials from the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority, the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Authority, ROMATSA, the Romanian Intelligence and Border Police Service, Romanian airport directors, local public administration representatives, university professors, the directors of some air transport operators and tourism companies, as well as guests from abroad representing companies in the field of airport technologies.
