STS has launched the application "CALL 112" for mobile telephony that allows the transmission of GPS coordinates when initiating a call to the Single National System for Emergency Calls - 112. Thus, specialized agencies can intervene faster and more efficiently, thus increasing the chances of rescue in life-threatening situations, property and the environment.
The Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority joins the STS public information campaign to support the efforts to raise awareness of the usefulness of the “APEL 112” service in saving lives.
