In accordance with the provisions of Implementing Regulation (EC) 2017/373 laying down common requirements for providers of air traffic management / air navigation services and other functions of the air traffic management network and for their supervision, the provider may make changes to:
(a) the functional system or affecting the functional system (type A);   
  a1) changes requiring examination and approval by the AACR before being implemented;   
  a2) changes that do not require examination (routine changes).
(b) the provision of services, the management system and/or the safety management system which don’t affect the functional system (type B).   
  b1) changes requiring prior approval by the AACR before being implemented;   
  b2) changes that don’t require prior approval before they are implemented;  

The ATM/ANS service provider shall notify to AACR the changes referred to in paragraph (a) and (b). The notification shall be drawn up and submitted to AACR.

The ATM/ANS service provider shall provide all necessary information for the correct and complete analysis of the notified change, including a traceability matrix between the documentation submitted and the requirements applicable to the change.

In accordance with the provisions of Implementing Regulation (EC) 2017/373, the ATM/ANS service provider shall use AACR approved procedures to manage, assess and, if necessary, reduce the impact of changes to its functional system, service provision, service provider management system and/or its safety management system that do not affect the functional system.

The activities and responsibilities related to the processes to be carried out in order to ensure the safety of any change in the field of ATM/ANS, in accordance with the provisions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, are set out in PAC-ATM/ANS Part IV "Management of Changes in ATM / ANS".
